American Standard Power Cord Standard

At present, the voltages used indoors in various countries can be roughly divided into two types, namely 100V-130V alternating current and 220V-250V alternating current. The former is also called low voltage. For example, Japan, the United States and other countries use this cigarette lighting range. This voltage range is somewhat safe. Even if it is accidentally touched, it will not cause great harm to people immediately. 220V-250V is called high voltage, and most countries use the voltage in this range. The voltage in this range has a high energy conversion rate and can support the use of more electrical appliances.
The US power cord socket is different from the domestic three-plug, the live wire and the neutral wire are composed of two parallel plugs. The domestic electricity voltage in the United States is generally AC120V/60Hz. Generally, there are three wiring connections on the socket, one is the live wire, the other is the neutral wire, and the other is the ground wire. There is no problem with the reverse connection of the live wire and the neutral wire, because both positive and negative directions can form a loop. Just be careful not to connect the live wire to the ground wire interface.
